49er Ski Club COVID-19 Policy

The 49er Ski Club highly recommends that all attendees at club events are vaccinated and boosted in accordance with CDC and California Department of Public Health recommendations. Please DO NOT participate in a club event IF:

you have been exposed to COVID-19 and are in a quarantine period, or
you are experiencing any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, recent loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nasal congestion, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

Welcome to the 49er Ski Club of Sacramento

The 49er Ski Club has been organized for people in the Sacramento region who have reached their 49th birthday and still feel young. Members actively participate as volunteers in helping lead the club organization and activities. Our goal is to improve our skiing skills, have fun and enjoy the company of fellow members.

We were founded in 1982 to promote a congenial atmosphere for group skiing. To join, you must be at least 49 and an active skier. Your spouse or significant other at the same address can also become a member.

Skiers interested in gaining membership in the 49er Ski Club:

Click the following link New Member Signup and complete the online application and waiver of liability. When your application is approved, submit the $45 initiation fee. This Agreement and fee must be submitted prior to undertaking any Prospective Membership Participation requirement. Please note that new membership applications are not accepted between March 1 and May 1.
If you don't know a club member who will sponsor you, we will help you find an active member to sponsor your prospective membership based on where and how you like to ski. Contact our Membership Chair for information.
Complete Prospective Membership Requirements:
- Participate in at least five Club ski days.
- Attend at least two 49er Club General Meetings between 05/01 of one year and 04/30 of the next year.
Complete and submit a Prospective Member Participation Requirement Form prior to May 1.
The season after you complete your Prospective Participation Requirements the annual dues are $25/year.
