Join us for an early Fall hike out along the coast in Marin County. The hike starts at Muir Woods National Monument and covers a total of 8 miles with a vertical gain of 1,200 feet and is considered moderately strenuous. The first mile of the hike leads us through the beautiful redwood forest of Muir Woods followed by a climb of over 1,000 feet to a vantage point with sweeping vistas of the Bay and San Francisco (weather permitting). At this point our hike joins with the famous Dipsea trail as we descend down to Stinson Beach enjoying views of the Pacific Ocean along the way.
