Let’s change things up a bit and meet at Nimbus Flat (Lake Natoma, near the Aquatic Center) at 4:00 p.m. for an afternoon paddle and potluck afterwards. At this time the forecast indicates breezy conditions, but we can hang out in the shelter of the dredger ponds if necessary. Plan to be in the water at 4:30, launching from the grassy area across from the Aquatic Center. After loading our boats, we’ll drive to the next parking lot where there is a large picnic area.<br /><br />I will bring plates, napkins and plastic utensils. Please bring food to share and a serving utensil. Bring your own drink, and remember alcohol isn’t permitted. <br /><br />State park pass or $10 entry fee. The park closes at 9 p.m.
