About this event

Tom Miner (916-204-8021) Meet at 9:15; ride at 9:30. Park near the diner; restrooms available. We’ll start with a 5 mile out & back on the Dry Creek Bike Trail, then north on the Sacramento Northern Bike Trail and continue on country roads to the Placer county line. On our way back to the Creekside Diner for a brunch break (at about mile 15), we'll stop every once in a while to see the quilt blocks of the Underground Railroad Quilt Block Trail. Since our cars are next to the diner, you may leave leftovers or unwanted clothes in your car, or even go home if you wish. Resuming our ride, we’ll follow the bike trail south to Robla and a Cambodian Buddhist Temple before heading back to the cars. 20 miles RT; flat terrain. The diner has agreed to set up a table outside for us, and they'll accept separate checks.
