49er Ski Club COVID-19 Policy

The State of Emergency for COVID-19 in California has ended, however, the disease remains endemic and continues to infect more than 1,000 people per day in the state. Vaccination remains the most effective method to prevent serious illness and death if you contract COVID-19. Therefore, the 49er Ski Club highly recommends that all attendees at club events are vaccinated and boosted in accordance with CDC and California Department of Public Health recommendations. Mask mandates have been lifted for indoor events. However, you may wish to wear a mask for your own safety. Additionally, please DO NOT participate in a club event IF:

  1. you have been exposed to COVID-19 and are in a quarantine period, or
  2. you are experiencing any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, recent loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nasal congestion, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
