49er Ski Club COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 transmission has increased substantially due to the spread of the delta variant and presents a major risk to the health of unvaccinated individuals. None of us want to be responsible for the preventable illness or death of a friend. As a result, all attendees at in-person 49er Ski Club events must be vaccinated and be prepared to show proof of vaccination. Masks are required for all indoor events and are recommended for outdoor events in close contact with others. Additionally, please DO NOT participate in the event IF:

  1. you have been exposed to COVID-19 and are in a quarantine period, or
  2. you are experiencing any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, recent loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nasal congestion, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

Scott’s Seafood parking lot to Caffe Latte along the Sacramento River and Pocket Canal Parkway trails (21 m RT).

Arrive at 8:15, depart 8:30, at Scott’s Seafood on the River, 4800 Riverside Blvd (park at the far north end of the parking lot where the bike trail begins).

We’ll head north on the Sacramento River Bike trail two miles to Miller Park for a restroom stop, then retrace our path south, ride on Riverside Blvd until we connect to the Pocket Canal Parkway, which we will follow over bridges and through a tunnel to River Lake and Caffe Latte (7600 Greenhaven Dr.) for a break.

To get to Scotts, take I-5 south, exit 516 Sutterville Rd., right onto the Riverside ramp, then left (south) on Riverside Blvd. At 25th Ave, turn right under the freeway to stay on Riverside, then right on Captain's Table Rd, then sharp right uphill to parking at Scotts (you’ll see the restaurant up on the levee).
